Schizophrenia Awareness Week

May 14-20 is Schizophrenia Awareness Week in Australia.  the Minister for Mental Health and Ageing, Mark Butler, has welcomed the opportunity the week provides to promote greater community understanding of schizophrenia and mental illness generally.  His media release includes information about the prevalence and nature of schizophrenia and the Government’s efforts towards supporting sufferers and carers.
