This article discusses how a three pronged approach with nurse leader, nurse educator, and
clinical nurse was implemented to address care improvements within a unit. The three improvements looked at were patient satisfaction, nurse satisfaction and clinical outcomes. The authors found that it is essential for RNs to be intimately involved in making changes to care practices.
