The Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of
Borderline Personality Disorder was
developed by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and supports the government's commitment to improved mental health services. The guide has been designed not only to improve the diagnosis, treatment and management of BPD, which affects 1% of the population, but to improve understanding and recognition of the condition in the wider community. It includes
63 recommendations on diagnosis, management, and treatment and information for
