This new journal aims to provide a vehicle for bringing together multidisciplinary
perspectives, research and initiatives concerning the concept of compassionate
health care. Compassion may also be viewed as a vehicle for enhancing quality and reducing
the cost of health care services.
Some of the subjects covered in this very first open access issue include:
- Compassion meditation intervention for people with chronic pain.
- Patient centred care retreats.
- Re-inspiring compassionate caring.
