Physician Ben Goldacre is well known for his books Bad Science and Bad Pharma. He is also a Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Oxford. Recently he presented a 30 minute talk at the International Journal of Epidemiology Conference which you can see here: "Transparency, beyond publication bias". In this "super-speedy talk", Goldacre laments the lack of transparency in clinical trials reporting. He calls for access to consent forms, to see what patients were told, the analytic code and the post-publication peer review. All this, he argues, should be available on open access and be reuseable.
