This release updates the 'Osteoarthritis' and 'Back problems'
snapshots as part of the AIHW's Online Musculoskeletal Compendium. Musculoskeletal conditions are conditions of the bones, muscles and their attachments (e.g. joints and
ligaments). They are the most common chronic conditions in Australia and include arthritis.
This Snapshop from AIHW looks at the existing health patterns, populations at
risk of illness, current health service use, and future demands on the health
and welfare systems.
