Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension in the Community

About one third of adults in most communities in the developed and developing world have hypertension.  It is the most common chronic condition dealt with by primary care physicians and other health practitioners, however treatment success is often limited.

The American Society of Hypertension and the International Society of Hypertension in the United States have produced a clinical guideline with the goal being to give sufficient information to enable health care practitioners, wherever they are located, to provide professional care for people with hypertension.
