Health Care Expenditure on Cardiovascular Disease

Australia spends more on cardiovascular diseases (CVD) than on any other disease group, according to a report released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW).
The report, Health care expenditure on cardiovascular diseases 2008-09, estimates that $7,605 million was spent on CVD in 2008-09-12% of all health care expenditure in Australia.
